Replacement wood sections to a vintage Rolls Royce
Jaguar XK150: We fitted new wooden parts to the hood frame, fettled the beadings, and then used our specialist for re-chroming those finishers, before re-fitting.
The hood-frame that came with this Austin 7 was incorrect for the model, and had been cut about to get it to fit after a fashion. Our specialist further modified that fit, re-making some components, to create a frame that is now correct for the vehicle.
VW Beetle - We co-designed the frame with a specialist hood frame maker – creating a 3-position hood that was easy to operate by one person. The original frame was a cumbersome and crude arrangement that required 2 people to open and close it.
