David began his apprenticeship with Molesey Coachtrimmers in 1977. For five years he gained experience with hand-built Panther cars, AC Cobras, and stretched limousines (Mercedes and Rolls-Royce).

In 1983 the time was right to set up his own business in Reigate, Surrey, where he steadily established a solid business with faithful customers who followed him to Wiltshire when he moved in 1986. Here work flourished and his experience continued to grow.

Interesting diversions have arisen from light aircraft, horse-drawn vehicles, and specialist furniture.

David is willing to share his knowledge with those who would prefer to try the work themselves. Many of those return to him when they fully appreciate the complexities involved!
