This was both fun and different. The aircraft came to our workshop (minus wings) as a bare unfinished cockpit, but had been "bedded in" with about 25 flying hours. The interior surfaces are covered with a wool moquette, and the seats and centre console in aviation-grade leather.
The seats were designed and created using several foam densities to form the shames without using a frame, in order to keep the weight down.
The base cushions incorporate high-ipact foam as their foundation, with softer foam on top, sculpted to give side and under-knee support.
The seats are easy to remove.
The total additional weight of this interior is approx. 11kgs (24lbs).
